Our Mission
In line with our Mission
Statement, we aim to guide and support pupils in their musical
endeavours. With our drive and passion for music we can develop
and refine their musical skills, enabling them to enjoy the world of
music whilst becoming well-informed and versatile with a depth of
musical understanding and appreciation.
Our
Staff
To
enable us to meet the targets of our mission, BMS employs tutors who are all practising musicians in the classical, jazz, rock or
world music scenes. Many have appeared on TV, film and stages all over
the world, and all of them have a real commitment to passing on their
skills and knowledge to the young people of Brent.

BMS Evening
Centres
Brent Music Service runs
three evening centres in the London Borough of Brent.
All three centres offer ensemble playing opportunities for young
people aged between 8 and 19. Find

Tuition
in Schools
In
association with the many schools in the London Borough of Brent, Brent
Music Service has provided instrumental and vocal tuition to over 75,000
children in the last 14 years. Our innovative early learning
classroom music programme "Music'sCool" helps to encourage a curiosity about
music from an early age and develops a structured awareness from Year 1
through to Year 6. Supported by
professional tuition throughout, there are also opportunities to join the BMS Music Ensembles
when certain goals have been reached by the student. Find
