Brent Young Musician of the Year 2010 Performs at Wembley Arena
Indira Grier, won the title of Brent Young Musician of the Year 2010 on her cello in March. As a result of this achievement she was invited to be the special guest soloist at Brent Makes Music 2010 held at the prestigious concert venue of Wembley Arena. Indira chose to perform the 1st Movement of Haydn’s Cello Concerto in C Major and mesmerized the audience and other performers with her musicality and dexterity in performing this most challenging of classical works. Conducted by her father, Indira was accompanied by a small music ensemble, who also showed great professionalism in their own musical performance of this difficult work, receiving the appropriate acknowledgment from Indira and notable appreciation from the audience.
