The Start of a Talent

Special Playing Memories
Deni is a member of the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain and one of her most exciting musical experiences so far was a performance with them of Stravinsky's 'The Rite of Spring' in the Barbican - 'the concert was absolutely electric'.

Music Preferences
Deni enjoys listening to a wide range of music, from Cobra Starship to Shostakovich.

Inspiration
Rostropovich and Yo Yo Ma offer Deni her inspiration for her cello playing.

The Future
Deni hopes to study music at a music college and is determined to form a career as a professional orchestral and chamber group cellist.
