Brent Makes Music 2010 - a resounding success story for 1,500 young musicians

As a result of the commitment of Brent Music Service to a variety of musical initiatives, the presentation of events such as Brent Makes Music 2010 by more than 1,500 children at Wembley Arena is true evidence of the way in which so many young musicians can benefit from the joy of music.  

From the early learning "Music'sCool" classroom programme for Years 1 - 6, to in-school instrumental and vocal tuition, through to evening centres offering a diverse range of musical ensembles and styles, Brent Music Service is committed to supporting the young people of Brent  by means of the proven social and educational benefits of music.

Brent Music Service provides access to music through a combination of routes and is a keen supporter of a variety of national music programmes such as 'Sing-Up' and 'Tune In - year of music'.  Through their alliance with these national initiatives, they have assisted many of Brent's Schools to receive bronze, silver and gold status 'Sing-Up Awards' and demonstrated their commitment to performance opportunities through their involvement with a broad range of school-based and public events.
